15th Annual Los Alamos Photographers' Show

February 1st - February 27th, 2010
Mesa Public Library, Los Alamos

To promote appreciation of photography in Los Alamos County, and to encourage Los Alamos photographers of all skill levels, the Los Alamos Photography Club (LAPC), in cooperation with Mesa Public Library, invites all Los Alamos photographers to exhibit their work.

Village Arts is offering a discount on framing and framing materials for the show. Please see them at their new location on DP Road for more information. Ask for Ken. In order to receive the discount work must be submitted for framing in December or early January. Work submitted in late January will not be eligible.

This is not a competition; there is no entry fee and no awards are made. Approximately 120 pieces can be hung for display in the show. Depending on the number of total entries we may need to limt individual entries. Please be prepared to prioritize your top three entries for hanging. An opening reception will be held on Monday, February 1st from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. Photographers may offer their entries for sale (see details below).

ELIGIBILITY

Photographers of any skill level (beginner, amateur, or professional) of high school age or older who live or work in Los Alamos County are eligible to enter. Any photographic process that results in prints suitable for hanging is acceptable. Photos must be matted and framed with wires for hanging on the back.
